The Weather Woman Who Lost Her Job for Defending Natural Hair and Black Kids.

Well, this is interesting. The picture to the right is Rhonda Lee's. She was a meteorologist at KTBS 3 news Shreveport, LA. She got fired for defending her hair as well as well as speaking her mind when someone said something ignorant about black children.

"Co-workers have had an intervention of sorts with me when I first started trying to get a weather job", Lee said. "They took me to lunch and told me, 'You're going to have to grow your hair out'"

These are the interactions that cost Lee her job

 At the moment, she has still not gotten a job in the field despite the fact that people admired her courage. An African American male based at a Sacramento station said that her hair was "too aggressive" for his viewers.
